Google Content Snippets is a box at the top of the search results which will appear when your search was in a question form.

This is only for some search results. This is a way that Google use to enhance the users experience on their platform. Giving a quick answer to a question type search that was entered by the user.

The snippet provides a summery with a quick answer to the search result, with the information extracted from a website with the relevant search result.

You will identify the snippet at the top of the page, as it will be a more detail description of the search result. The box contains the information that was extracted from a third party website. 

There will be a link to the page, and the page title. The URL of the page will also be visible.

Google will display the information in the featured snipped in different forms, like a paragraph, list or set of steps, or a table.

The snippes is extracted from websites that is listed for the specific search result. Determining if a website has the relevant information to be displayed in the snippet, is all determined by

Google's automated system. The users feedback helps to improve the search algorithms and quality of each search result.

Some featured snippets will be removed if they don't follow Google's policies, or if the website violates the guidelines for extracting snippets.

Google want users to give feedback on the featured snippets that was displayed, if the snippet does not follow the policies of Google.

If the information that was displayed in the snippet is inaccurate or misleading information. You can also give positive feedback on the snippet, as all the feedback help to improve your search experience.
